Design Philosophy

It would be disingenuous not to admit that this site is a marketing tool.  It is our belief that informed, knowledgeable clients and prospective clients will recognize the value this site provides and we hope come back often for updates.  We keep the site design simple so that it requires low bandwidth and loads quickly even over slow speed connections.  It has very little graphics because graphics slow down site loading.  

Technical Matters

This is the third version of this site.   This version is built on the Joomla 1.5 platform.  Joomla is a popular open source content management system that allows for easy updating.  Joomla uses a MySQL database to serve pages as they are requested.  This means that changes to existing articles are automatically propagated through the site as needed.  Menu systems can be easily changed and moved.  For example; the H-1B Cap Count menu is not needed after the cap has been reached and so it will be moved to a sub menu at that time. 

Browser support.  We test on Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Opera.  We know that some mobile browsers have difficulty displaying the pages and so we are building a mobile site.  We are also building an Android App which we hope you will use to keep up to date on changes to law and policy, immigration or aviation.
