The Department of State (DOS) has published an interim final rule increasing DOS immigrant visa processing fees in most but not all categories.

The new fees are effective July 13, 2010.  More than two dozen DOS fees are changing on that date, you can find the complete list HERE.

32(a). Immigrant visa application processing for immediate relative and family preference applications.

Old fee $355 ...................New Fee $330 ...................Decrease -$25 .

32(b). Immigrant visa application processing for employment-based applications.

Old fee $355 ................... New Fee $720 ................... Increase $365.

32(c). Immigrant visa application processing for other visa classes.

Old Fee $355 .................. New Fee $305 ................. Decrease -$50.

 33. Diversity Visa Lottery. (Note: This is the fee charged to lottery winners who apply for visas. Submitting a lottery entry remains no charge.)

Old Fee $ 375 .................. New Fee $440 ................. Increase $65.

34. Affidavit of Support Review.

Old Fee $70 ................... New Fee $88 .................. Increase $18.

36. Immigrant visa security.

Old Fee $45 ................... New Fee $74 .................. Increase $29.
